5 Reasons to be Obsessed with Stitch Fix

Do you ever wonder how exactly fashion bloggers are able to find the cutest and trendiest clothes all the time? Because same. Of course, fashion is their job so without the constraints of a normal 9-5 they are able to scour the internet for the best sweaters and berets money can buy. For the rest of us however, we might have to make do with what’s at our local mall on a Saturday or just stick to what we have already. No fun, if you ask me. That’s when I discovered Stitch Fix, a way to find fun pieces to spice up my closet without even having to leave my house. Who wouldn’t love that? After using Stitch Fix for over a year now, I thought I’d share with you why I’ve been loving the experience.

Stitch Fix is a personal styling subscription service that really allows you to make each fix individual to your style and needs. Before you sign up you take a quiz letting your stylist know about your lifestyle, personal preferences, and sizes. Then with each new fix, you are able to write a note to your stylist and tell them whatever you want. Here is your opportunity to say what you do and do not want. If you absolutely hate paisley, don’t be shy girl! Let your stylist know to the exact detail what you like and loathe and they will deliver. Then after every fix you’re able to provide feedback on each piece. Was something not quite right? Let them know! Each time you do your next fix just gets better and better. A recent new feature that they added to their app that I also enjoy is the style shuffle. This lets you give either a thumbs up or thumbs down for different clothing items.  This is just another great tool to help you refine your style and make sure you get exactly what you want!

The great thing about Stitch Fix is that they truly cater to everyone, no matter your budget. Whatever you typically spend on clothes they will stick to and still be able to find pieces you love. I stick to the more budget friendly option and still receive quality items that I love!

With Stitch Fix it’s super easy to look put together with minimum effort involved. In every fix you are given a sort of how-to guide on possible outfits you can create with each item and a little note from your stylist going over what they’ve put together for you. So far with all of my boxes I’ve been able to effortlessly pair the clothes I’ve gotten in the box and the clothes I’ve already got in my closet. The less thinking I have to do when choosing an outfit, the better, in my opinion.

If you don’t love something it’s also super easy to send back. You don’t even have to print a return label because it’s all ready to go for you in your box! I am a super lazy human so I’m very grateful that they don’t make this process too complicated. I honestly think that’s how a lot of companies trick you into keeping and paying for things because they make returns too difficult. Just me? Ok cool.

I remember once I was shopping at the mall trying to find the perfect pair of mom jeans (was a major fail) and the person working the back area of the store kept asking me how it was going and I had to awkwardly say good even tho I already knew I wasn’t going to buy anything. When I’m trying on clothes I need 10 minutes to stare at myself and think and maybe do some lunges to test movement. Stitch Fix let’s you avoid that kind of situation entirely by letting you try on clothes in the comfort of your own home. So lunge and stare away! You also won’t have to ponder over whether or not what you are about to buy will work with anything in your closet because it’s all right there.
