How To Transition Your Wardrobe

I have never been more ready for spring. Right now where I live in Minnesota, it's getting slightly warmer, but it's still windy with snow on the ground. My heart says spring, but the weather has yet to catch up. So how do you dress when we're awkwardly in between seasons? I've put together a few tips and tricks to make it easier until it's officially spring.

Trade in your puffy winter jacket for something a bit lighter, such as a nice trench. Sticking to neutral colors will mean it'll go well with everything.

While it's definitely too cold to wear shorts, ankle grazing pants are a fun way to mix it up. I've been seeing a lot of wide legged and paper bag pants and had to pick up a pair for myself. Usually I've only ever worn skinny jeans, but this season I'm looking to experiment with different trends, would you try pants like these?

When transitioning from a winter wardrobe color palette into spring I like to slowly reintroduce brighter colors. This way they don't overpower my outfit.
