Trying New Facemasks

Trying New Facemasks

So recently I was browsing through the skin care section at Target (guilty pleasure) and discovered some new face masks from Neutrogena and Pacifica. I was particularly excited about the Neutrogena sheet masks as I've been loving all their hydro boost products and I believe these are the first sheet masks they've brought out! They've also added two new overnight face masks.  I decided to give them a try and let me tell you, they are my new favorites.

Sheet masks are my favorite way to treat my skin. They're so easy, no rinsing required, and pack so many amazing ingredients in for your skin to soak up. These masks in particular are great because they aren't like your traditional paper ones, but are a gel like substance. They feel refreshing on and unlike some sheet masks, aren't completely soaked with product that they slide down your face. Perfect for when you're not in the mood to have to lie down so it stays on your face, but rather need to mask and multi task. The masks are also divided into two sections, for your upper and lower face. This is especially helpful if you have a petite face like I do, as it makes it easier to fit to your face without a ton of excess hanging off.

My skin felt so moisturized and plump after using these I went out and bought a couple more! The Hydro Boost mask has hyaluronic acid which is amazing for quenching dry skin. The Deep Clean mask gave my skin a beautiful glow and noticeably reduced redness. Both masks I would highly recommend to anyone, especially if you have dry or dehydrated skin.

This is the first overnight face mask I've ever tried and it's now my favorite way to give my skin some extra love and attention. I bought two of these pots (which kind of look like Keurig pots, minus the coffee) and have really enjoyed how they've made my skin feel. In one pot you can definitely get 2-3 uses out of it as you only need a thin layer. Apply as your last step in your evening skin care routine and then wash off when you wake up to reveal smooth and supple skin! I was really amazed as to how well this worked and the fact that it didn't rub off on my pillow. Would you try these? If you have any recommendations for overnight masks let me know in the comments below!

I have only recently been introduced to this brand when I tried out their rose water facial spray. After giving that a go and absolutely loving it, I decided to test out a few of their other products as well. These masks are like your regular full face paper sheet masks, but still don't slide off your face (can you tell that's a pet peeve of mine?).

The rose and peptide facial mask was an amazing and refreshing mask that felt so nice after a long day of work and school. Great for all skin types and with amazing ingredients, it really perked up my tired skin and gave me a healthy glow. Remember to pat in any remaining essence on your face and neck to receive and fully benefit from your sheet masks.

The stress rehab sheet mask was probably my favorite of the two. It smelled of coconut (which I feel like people either love or hate, but I most definitely love) and was so moisturizing. If you can't tell, I'm all about keeping my skin hydrated, especially during the winter months. Having a hydrating skin care routine during the colder and drier months is very important and adding this sheet mask to you regimine is a great way to do that!

What are some of your favorite masks, know any I should try? Let me know in the comments below!
