Porch and Cellar
Porch and Cellar has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat in Rochester. This past summer I spent many evenings on their wrap around porch enjoying the weather and their amazing food.
Instead of your usual bread and butter, here you'll enjoy buttermilk biscuits with their signature honey butter. It is hands down the best butter I have ever had and a must have when you go to the Porch and Cellar!
My favorite entrée so far is definitely the smoked pork sandwich. It is the perfect combination of sweet and savory. The smoked pork is topped with a spiced blueberry spread and fried onions, all between a buttermilk biscuit.
On the side I went for the dilly tossed green beans. Fresh citrusy green beans with a hint of garlic topped with bacon is an exciting twist on a familiar dish. Bacon also makes everything taste a million times better.
If you aren't completely stuffed when the waiter comes around to get dessert orders, ask about the seasonal pie and thank me later!
