Saranghae Skin Care Review
Korean skin care and beauty has been taking the world by storm in the last few years. By now you should have heard or read about the effectiveness of a gentle skin care routine infused with botanicals and more magical ingredients. With so many places now offering Korean skin care, it's hard to decide where to start. I decided to give the Saranghae Korean 5 Step Anti-Aging line a try to see if a Korean skin care routine was right for me.
First thing you should know is that I have acne prone, sensitive, dehydrated skin. My usual skin care routine consisted of products that were much harsher and designed specifically with acne in mind. After reading a multitude of skin care blogs encouraging a gentler skin regimen I decided to make the switch. I used to attack blemishes with any and all face washes and spot treatments, but that really just dried my skin out and left it red and angry. After using this skin care line for about three months now, I am officially in love with Korean skin care.
My favorite from the line was the Nourishing and Moisturizing Cleanser. This felt amazing on the skin and easily melted away even my most stubborn foundation, though I would recommend still using something else to take your makeup off prior to using this. It felt super silky and soft, starting off as an oil, but once you added water it foamed and washed away seamlessly with water.
I would follow the cleanser with the Infinite Repair Night Serum. Like most face serums that I have used in the past, this made my skin feel soft and supple. However, being both an essence and a serum it has double the benefits. You only need a few drops and you will immediately notice glowing and radiant skin. Using your hands, pat on your face and neck.
Next I use the Focus Renewal Eye Cream, this comes in a gel form and is very soothing under the eyes. You only need the tiniest amount of it as it goes along way so be very careful with the pump otherwise it will shoot out across your bathroom like it did for me. Use the gentlest of touches. Though, looking at the website I've notices they have upgraded their packaging so the pump could have changed.
The Firm and Lift Regeneration Cream is probably the best moisturizer I've ever used. It doesn't leave your skin shiny or greasy feeling, but rather sinks right into your skin leaving a youthful glow.
I would highly recommend giving this line a go if you're interested in Korean skin care! Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
